This Friday we finally kick started the long-awaited Tekken 6 ranbat here at TTF. Plenty of new faces came out for the event and a few of the SFIV regulars came and showed that they aren’t just contenders in the 2d realm.
Street Fighter vets Viscant and Ken I entered Tekken 6 to show what they’ve got and both placed a respectful 5th place earning them 3 points each. SDT repped their set strong, taking top 4 as well as all placing in the top 10. AlexMan defeated Dumadagger in the grand finals to become TTF’s first T6 champ and number 1 in points. But that’s not all we’ll hear about Alex this week.
Street Fighter IV was business as usual but with a few surprises! SD stepped it up and finally stopped Ken I from the top (thanks to Nemo), a TTF first. But then again he was using Akuma (Just sayin.). And remember AlexMan winning T6? His reign of terror didn’t end there. After working through Ken I and Nemo, and then Nemo forfeiting the grand finals, AlexMan took another 8 points and more money for SFIV.
